Brian Gentles is husband to Elaine; they are parents of 5 and grandparents to 4.
Brian started out as a COBOL programmer. He helped create the Y2K issue. His IT career continued in the oil and gas, steel and mining industries. Early 90’s he owned and operated ambulance and paramedic services in Kananaskis and for North American companies working in Siberia. He also sold ambulances across Western Canada and to Iran. This gave him a taste for financing businesses and international finance.
Brian has been a broker for residential and commercial mortgages and business financing the last 20 years.
Brian and Elaine love to travel: Canada, US, family in Australia and England which led them to Germany and Austria. Work took Brian to Russia and Cyprus.
Brian also believes in giving back to his community. He has 40 years in Scouting; including provincial, national and international events. He has been a dock boy, sailing companion, Board member and coordinator for national events with the Disabled Sailing Association. Brian is an active Rotarian and serves as the Co-chair for the Rotary Alberta Youth Entrepreneurship Camp.
