Karen Murdock
My story
Karen has been working with photos professionally for over fifteen years. She got her start scanning, enhancing, and editing photos when she worked in the funeral industry, and was faced with the task of preparing photos for memorial videos, obituaries, and service cards.
In 2018, Karen became the Founder of Treasured Photo Collections to help others have searchable and organized photo collections. Specializing in multi-generational collections enabling families to leave a photo legacy. Using specialized software and hardware Karen and her team work with all old forms of printed media as well as digital photos on Macs and PC operating systems. They work with families all over Alberta, and have served clients across Canada, and as far away as Florida.
A mother of five, and grandmother of eight, Karen has been married for over 30 years to her husband, Don. In her spare time, she researches family genealogy and enjoys a good glass of wine.
