my story
I was born on a ship coming into Singapore where we lived for a little over a year. We then moved back to Hong Kong, where my family was from. When I was 8, we moved to Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
After high school, I moved to Calgary and have lived here since. I have a daughter and son and three grandsons.
My youngest grandson, Ben who is 5 years old, and his hockey teammates were invited to a Flames' game on November 23rd, 2021. They were the entertainment for one of the intermissions. They took to the ice and had a “game”. If you have seen 5-year old’s play hockey, there is a lot of swarming and very little structure. After they swarmed for a while, Ben got the puck, brought it down the ice, and scored. He was nominated Player of the Game and was interviewed on TV. The poor interviewer could only get one-word answers. Calgary has been a place of opportunity for me and my family, even for my grandson Ben.
I now help businesses get the attention of their reluctant prospects. I custom design campaigns with introduction packages to get my clients foot-in-the-door and a follow-up-campaign to keep them top of mind. Recently, I designed a campaign targeting the top 20 law firms in my city. We received six requests for either a meeting, quote or sample. Five of these twenty became clients.
