Ric Matkowski

I am a commercial and portrait photographer, accredited by the Professional Photographers of Canada. Prior to my life as a creative, I was a Professional Engineer and Executive in the energy sector working and living in the Middle East, the United Kingdom, the USA, and Canada. I left that industry in 2011, returned to Calgary and thereafter began seriously pursuing my interest in photography.

My photography is about you and your business and therefore, I strive to create images that tell a story and show a product or person in the best way possible. In today’s world, professional photography is imperative when seeking better conversion rates and increased sales volume.

In addition to photography, I'm also a digital artist. I use my photography to create unique pieces of art that interest individuals or businesses who seek alternative art or a way to separate themselves from the competition. I pride myself with attention to detail and a willingness to do whatever is necessary to satisfy my client’s needs.
